Sell Textbooks and College Books Online
Sell Textbooks
Selling books and college textbooks online may be an enjoyable experience. One of the easiest ways to check out what kind of prices the textbook buying companies on the internet are offering is to visit one of those sites and type in the ISBN number from one of your textbooks that you don’t want any more. That’s assuming you’re wanting to sell textbooks (if you have books that you use all the time, it might not be the greatest idea to sell those). When you type in the ISBN number, there’s usually some sort of a “submit” button (a button that you click). Often, the book buying site will present an online quote if they are interested in buying the book. Some websites are set up where you submit the books you want to sell, and then they will email you with a quote. But many book buyback sites have a page that will appear with quotes right away on the books they are buying. If you type in the numbers to all your books, but no prices show up, then there is a chance that the company doesn’t want any of those books. But if you see offering prices, and they seem really good, then you might have some decisions to make, including:
- Do you think you’ll need the book again in the future for reference?
- Would you be glad to sell the book, or will you wish you had kept it?
- Are you looking forward to a bookbuyer buying your textbooks?
- Have you considered all options like donating the book, giving it to a friend, etc.?
Wanting To Sell Textbooks?
If you’re confident that you want to sell your textbooks, and you find a buyer that wants to buy them, then if or when a sale takes place, you might think what a great educational tool that book is, and that since you sold it, someone else might have a chance to get the same enjoyment out of it that you did. By selling your textbooks online or to a person or local company, another student or individual might be able to learn from that textbook, too.
